In
the lush Green Mountains of Vermont sits
the 140-acre sugarbush known as Highland
Estates. This is the cornerstone for production
of some of the finest organic maple syrup
available. Utilizing his degree from the
University of Vermont and work experience
within the food industry, not to mention
his love of the outdoors, Jim MacIsaac founded
Highland Sugarworks in 1986. His knowledge
of both food science and production set
the ground work for the quality of Highland's
products.

What Vermont
Tastes Like
Come

tradition combine with the most modern smokehouse
facilities to produce ham, cheddar cheese,
Pure Vermont Maple Syrup, and other specialty
foods known the world over for their unique
flavor and wholesome goodness.
Have
you ever seen how Vermont maple syrup is
made?
Our family boils pure maple syrup with the
same pride, care and tradition that Timothy
Dakin used when he first established the
farm in 1792. Don't forget to see our educational
maple syrup movie and take the tour of our
maple syrup cannery.
See
how Vermont cheddar cheese is made.....
We'll show you how we prepare our creamy,
crumbly, prize-winning cheddar cheese. Watch
the hand-waxing process that preserves its
one-of-a-kind flavor.
Visit
our state-of-the-art smokehouse.......
See how our family slow-smokes hams, turkeys
and other specialty meats over smoldering
corncobs.

Burlington (next to Barnes & Noble)
is easy to get to from anywhere in the greater
Burlington area and is just off I-89 (exit
